Description

This vintage sweater is a sumptuous work of art. Crafted by Italian luxury clothing designer Agnona Lanerie, I think in the 1970's. I'm pretty sure it has never been worn.
The pullover sweater is a mohair, wool, silk, nylon blend. The size tag is missing, but I think it measures to a small. Please check the measurements.
Look at all of the detail! Was it handcrafted? It must be, there are decorative, subtle seams that start and stop halfway through, and those pom poms cannot be made by a machine. The colors are rich, burnt umber with espresso and plum woven in and a russet brown which is actually several different shades knit together. Then the pom-pom like lumps are charcoal, black, and the burnt umber knitted together in a mishmash ball. The buttons are for decoration only.
