Does it run closer to 12 or 18? We’ve never owned but I AM DEF INTERESTED! My daughter is 15 mo and average size, around 31 inches and 22lbs if that helps

IMO I would say closer to 18 months! The straps in the back are adjustable so it definitely gives room. We wore even past 18m when she wore this for pictures:)
