Check out all of my Montessori items by searching for hashtag: #montessoridf20 Long drawer on a tilted base rolls the ball down and thumps onto the front of the drawer to entice baby's curiosity enough to open the drawer and develop an understanding of this object permanence game. *I have added a small wooden ball to be used with this box under adult supervision-- it is too small to be a toy for baby unsupervised. We stored it away from baby when not in our view. You can also get creative with this box after the initial object permanence concept formation. We then hid puzzle pieces in the drawer for baby to discover and a single piece puzzle base right next to the drawer to further form more ideas about what he could do with it. After a few months he was coming to the drawer every morning to find the puzzle piece and put it in the puzzle by himself.
