All of these are hardcover. Four of them have dust jackets (dj in individual descriptions) and four are library discards (ld). Please expect all normal library markings on those books.
First Steps in Ballet is by Thalia Mara and was published in 1955 by Doubleday. It has a dj in Mylar. This book has page-turning dimpling to some pages.
Second Steps in ballet is also by Thalia Mara. It was published in 1956 by Doubleday. This book has a sturdy library binding. It has less evident wear than the first book.
Ballet How It All Began is a gorgeous ld book with dj by Vivian Werner discoursing on the history of ballet. This book was published by Atheneum in 1982 and is a stated first edition. Slight wear to corners. Clean and tight interiors.
Ballet steps Practice to Performance LD is another gorgeous book by Antony Dufort. It was published in 1985 by Clarkson N. Potter and is a stated first American edition. The title page has a small, closed, repaired tear. Some pages have slight soil. Excellent illustrations and photos. The dj has some wear to the top and small, closed tear on top and bottom.
The Illustrated Book of Ballet Stories by Barbara Newman was published by DK in 1997. Its a second American edition. Wear to top and slight, closed tears to top and bottom of dj. Interior is beautiful. CD is not included. I couldn't find it.
The How and Why Wonder Book of Ballet Deluxe Edition was published in 1961 by Wonder Books. It is glossy and the top of the spine is having issues - see pictures for details. The bottom spine has a closed tear in it. And the bottom back cover has scratches. The interior is tight. The pictures are colorful. And the book is engaging as well as highly informative.
