She has Down's Syndrome was designed through a partnership with the National Down's Syndrome Society. Meaningful symbols are incorporated throughout her outfit. She is wearing a dress with a butterfly pattern; butterflies are a symbol for Down's Syndrome. Her pink pendent necklace has three arrows to represent the third 21st chromosome that appears with Down's Syndrome, and it points inward to symbolize rising up and moving forward. She wears pink ankle braces to match her outfit and perfectly and support her as she walks, while her white sneakers have a zipper, so they are easy to get on and off.
