1960s Vintage Costume 30" Pearl Necklace Made in Japan
Pre-owned, in good vintage used condition. The clasp is in fair condition as it shows discoloring due to age (as can be seen in the photos).
Necklace length is 30" long.
Has 40 large beads measuring approximately 1.8 cm (11/16") in diameter.
Box type closure and creamy white costume pearls.
Original owner purchased it in Japan in the 1960s. Most of the costume pearls made in Japan during that time were made of glass beads coated with crushed shells. The necklace feels heavy, it weighs around 4 ounces.
