This Downtown Dreamer Swing Top is made from a size 5T, reclaimed, long sleeve, pointelle knit tee. A variety of textiles are used to create the flowing, swing bottom. Textiles Include fabric remnants, some vintage, vintage crocheted linens, remnants of lace, some, also vintage, and trim repurposed from other garments. Flowers were created from scraps of fabric to detail both the front and the back empire waistline.

The Story:
Each Rethreaded Original is individually designed and crafted using recycled or reclaimed clothing with vintage and sometimes new textiles. Each re-imagined garment is completely unique. Character is achieved through Fraying, raw edges, and imperfections. These are intentional elements of the overall design. These transformed pieces follow the concept and philosophy of garments seen by companies like Urban Outfitters, Free People, and Anthropology, but in a pint size version and occasionally in mom sizes too. This form of conscious, sustainable fashion is a way of up-cycling, recycling and striving for zero-waste. These garments are 100% creative, made uniquely with love.
