BASIC KIDIZEN APP NAVIGATION **This is for iOS however hopefully can benefit Android as well as they are similar When the app is opened it will drop into the featured feed. There are a lot items and shops Kidizen features, along with personalized banners depending on which brands someone follows and the filters that are saved. This is also where to find the Hash Flashes as well as the social groups. More on these at the end. To the right of Featured is My Feed which is a stream of all the posts from people that someone follows. On the bottom is the navigation menu. The first one, Home, is the Featured Feed and My Feed as previously mentioned. The second one is Shop. This is where all the items in Kidizen are found. You can shop by one of the categories or tap shop all (don’t worry, there is a filter so Shop All can be chosen). Towards the top is the Filter and Sort. A saved filter can be created through the Filter button. Not everything has to be chosen in the filter so basic clothing size (some list as one size so may want to choose that as well), shoe size, and gender can just be chosen to start with. Tapping on Save (to the left of apply) will save the filter. To access the saved filter tap on Filter again and to the right is Saved, which is where saved filters live and can applied to the listings. If looking for more specific things, like rainbow items, a keyword search can be applied over the filter so that rainbow items in the sizes needed only show up. The keyword search can be typed in the magnify glass in the upper right. Sort can organize the shopping feed by recently shared items, newest, or lowest price. Next navigation button is Sell. This is how to create a listing as well as find out more about selling. On to Alerts. There are 3 different type of alert tabs: Orders, Me, and Alerts. Order alerts are ones pertaining to orders, Me alerts are ones that have to do with someone’s own shop/profile, and Alerts are other shop alerts (discounts changes, price drops, etc). They will have a red dot next to the correct alert tab when there is a new alert. The alerts received (in app, email alerts, and push notifications) can all be altered in Settings. Lastly, the Me tab. This is someone’s shop/profile home base. In the upper right there is a gear icon, this is Settings. In Settings there is a shop search (Find Friends), edit a profile, set a shop discount/put a shop on vacation (Shop Settings), control notifications, etc. Down the Me profile there lies Perks, Stamps, as well as a Piggy Bank. Perks are points earned for selling/buying certain brands (currently they are June & January, GroVia, Nui Organics, and Plae). The points can be redeemed for gift cards to use on the brand websites. Stamps are a badge earned for a profile. There have been rewards linked to certain stamps in the past. The piggy bank holds Kid Bucks which if for sellers is a fave icon :) Hi, shopping! Tapping on the piggy will bring up the Kid Bucks screen. Cash is the money that can be spent or cashed out. Credits are credits given by Kidizen and can only be used in the app. Pending is the amount pending from sales until the orders are shipped. Once they are shipped the money will go to cash. Below these three tabs are Orders, Messages, and Invite friends. Orders is all of someone’s Sales and Purchases. The green truck next to the item circle means it has been shipped. If it has a warning triangle it means there is an issue, usually this is because the order is over the 7 day shipping window. Tapping on the item icon in your orders history will bring up the order screen. All order info is here. The next box is Messages and it will have a red dot in the box when there is a new one. Invite friends will bring up someone’s referral code and the list of people referred. Lastly, there are Listings, Faves, Posts, and Collections. Listings are the current listings, Faves are the items that have been favorited, Posts is anything that has been posted to the My Feed or the social groups, and Collections are collections that have been created. Collections: There are so many different ways to use collections. Some use them to collect items they love, others to shop (such as a collection of their cart), or a collection helpful posts. Hash Flash: Hash Flashes are themed item parties in a sense. A seller Hash Tag’s their items that fit under the Hash Flash theme by commenting on them with the hash flash hashtag for that night (they are on Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Sunday) and at 9pm EST the banner goes live and buyers can shop the Hash Flash. These are good to have your items in because there is a lot of traffic in the app on these nights. Social Groups: Social groups are groups in the app that people can post in and ask questions, share pics, and connect with other Kidizen moms. These social groups are located towards the bottom of the Featured Feed under Find Your Community. There are 3 groups, one for sellers, one to share promos in your shops, and one to share style related info.
