There is a Dutch saying - “Een nieuwe lente, een nieuw geluid” - which means “a new spring, a new sound.” Every spring, birds tweeting near our slightly open windows encourage us to go outside and enjoy the weather. Yet each time it arrives, the season offers its own uniqueness – newborn baby animals & birds with their own special sounds & songs. This Dutch idiom reminds us to take advantage of fresh opportunities & the novelties of life.
